Have you ever wished you could have a do-over? Maybe you can.

Have you ever done something you later regretted?  Have you ever said something you wish you could take back?  At one time or another I think we’ve all regretted doing something or saying something. Have you ever wished you could have a do-over in a relationship, in a situation or maybe even in life.  Maybe you can.

This weekend we are starting a new teaching series called “Starting Over” which is all about regrets.  We all have regrets about the past that we carry around with us.  Start Over is not about living without regrets its about living beyond regrets.  Regrets are a natural part of life and they aren’t meant to remind us of the bad we’ve done, rather they are meant to help us live better.

Starting this Sunday and through out January we’ll be exploring how embrace our regrets, learn from our regrets and live better lives because of them.  Each week we’ll be exploring the story of someone who had regrets and learned to live beyond them.

I hope you’ll join us this weekend and through the series in January as together we explore how we can learn to love our regrets, live beyond our regrets, and starting living the life Jesus envisioned for us.

Date Night
Join us beginning January 10th at 7 pm for Date Night.  A coffee house experience for you and your partner.  We’ll serve up some great coffee along with a sweet treat.  There’ll also be a brief though provoking talk given that will help you grow in your relationship together.  We’ve even got the babysitting covered as Date Night takes place on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, during MidWeek Kids Club.  Mark your calendar and ask your sweetheart if they’d like to go on a date with you!

Alpha
Alpha is a series of discussions exploring the Christian faith. Each week we look at a different topic and engage in conversations about faith and life’s biggest questions. Join us for Alpha on Wednesdays at 6:30 beginning January 10th.

MidWeek
MidWeek for kids, youth and adults Returns January 10.  Join us for dinner between 5:30 and 6:30 and then stay for activities that will help you and your family grow as a disciple of Jesus.  Dinner is $4 for adults and $2 for anyone under 18 years of age.  MidWeek programming is free.

Year End Giving
Are you considering making a year-end gift?   Help us finish our fiscal year in a positive position and start the new year strong, while at the same time having your gift counted towards your 2017 charitable tax receipt. Gifts can be made in person at the church on Christmas Eve or New Years Eve, online using your credit card or VISA debit card or by mailing in a cheque (be sure that the envelope is postmarked prior to December 31).
