Read James 3:13-18
There is a difference between knowledge and wisdom.
2.) What knowledge do you possess? Where and by what means did you acquire that knowledge? How is knowledge measured? Does our intellect sometimes lead us to believe that there is an attribute of God that we do not need?
3.) What wisdom do you possess? Where did your wisdom come from? How do you know you have wisdom, how does it show itself in your life? If you don’t have wisdom, what do you need to do to grow in wisdom?
Read Proverbs 9:10-12
4.) Fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom. What does “fear of the Lord” mean to you? What are the benefits of Godly wisdom?
Read Matthew 5:9
5.) Seeking wisdom through scripture leads to peace. Do you believe that wisdom can be learned? How have you experienced growing in wisdom and how has that created peace in your life?

As you prepare to close this time together, ask God to give you His wisdom and guide you to wise solutions for your challenges and the “stuff” going on for you this week.
