Reaching out at Christmas – Hampers

We are planning once again to help those who need assistance at Christmas. Salvation Army has a list of families with specific needs, and we will partner with them to provide hampers. Our small groups will participate to provide some hampers. There will be more details to follow, but start planning for the spirit of Christmas to enrich you in some different ways this year.

Reaching out at Christmas – Arcola Community School

For those who are not involved in a small group, we want to support our friends at Arcola Community School. We will provide gift bags full of much-needed practical items for the children such as t-shirts,  socks , and personal hygiene items. Watch for a tree in the lobby decorated with cards containing the lists  of items and more information for each gift bag. Thank you in advance for your generosity!

Alpha

Are you wondering what faith is all about? Do you have questions that just won’t go away? “Who is God? Why am I here? Where do I belong?” Beginning on January 10, join us at MidWeek for Alpha as we explore life’s toughest questions.

Work Bee

We would like to have a “work morning” at the church on Saturday, December 2, 9 am – noon. If you can volunteer some time, please respond to our lead custodian, Mike, at mikep@mylivinghope.ca.

50+ Pre-Christmas Dinner

You are invited to the 50+ Pre-Christmas Dinner on November 24 at 6 pm. Ross and Bonita will be our guests. Tickets are $15, available from Agnes Reimer.

Caution

We are experiencing steadily increasing traffic on Arcola Avenue. As well, winter conditions often cause reduced visibility and icy roads. Please use extreme caution when entering and exiting the parking lot.
