Discuss:

  1. Read Ephesians 1:15-23. What do you observe about Paul’s heart as you read his prayers?
  2. Create list of what you see Paul praying for in this passage. What items from this list would you like to include in your prayers that you may not have in the past?
  3. Paul talks about ‘knowing God’ as more than information. In what ways have you experienced God outside of a growth in knowledge?
  4. Paul makes an interesting statement that part of the inheritance that we receive as Christians is found in the church. How have you seen this to be true? What makes this challenging?
  5. Paul ends by describing God’s power that is available to all who follow Him. Where you have experienced the power of God in your life? Who can you think of who would benefit from hearing your story of God’s power at work in your life?

Pray:

Ask for prayer requests. Using your list from question 2, pray for every person’s requests.
