Here’s what’s happening with Living Hope for the week beginning April 5, 2020.
Worship Gathering Online Only
In light of the recent COVID-19 Pandemic and provincial requirements that public and private gatherings be limited to 10 people or less, we will be holding our weekly worship gathering online only. Our worship gatherings will begin at 10:30 am on Sunday on YouTube and our website. If you have a SmartTV or AppleTV with the YouTube App you can use the app to tune in by searching for Living Hope Regina on YouTube. Otherwise, visit the MyLivingHope website and click the Watch Live link on your internet-enabled device.
Good Friday Service
Join us this Friday at 10:30 am for our annual Good Friday Service on YouTube and our website. We will be worshiping and reflecting on the sacrifice Jesus made for each of us. We will be remembering Jesus’ sacrifice by participating in communion, please prepare by having juice/wine and bread ready to partake.
Be a Part of Our Easter Service!
Every Easter it is our tradition to greet each other by saying “He is Risen!” and then responding “He is Risen Indeed!” But in the middle of a pandemic when we can’t gather publicly how do we still do this? Pastor Eric is putting together a special video greeting for Easter to make this possible. If you’d like to be a part of this special video greeting shoot a video of yourself or your family on your phone or tablet saying “He is Risen! … He is Risen Indeed!” and send it to Eric. We are excited about what God is going to do through our online worship gathering this Easter and we hope you’ll be a part of it!
Connecting with God and Each Other
During this time of social and physical distancing, our pastors are working to produce materials and opportunities to connect you with God and with your church family aside from our Sunday worship gathering. Each week we will be posting materials on social media and we will be hosting various live events using YouTube or Zoom. Please feel free to pick and choose the materials and connections points that work with your schedule and your personality. We won’t be offended if you skip an event or ignore our posts, we just want to help you connect in this time of isolation and distancing.
Here are some opportunities to connect this week:
- Wednesday at 12:00 pm – Pastor Eric will be streaming worship songs to give you hope and help you connect with God. You can take part in this gathering by visiting our YouTube channel or our Facebook Page.
- Thursday at 2:00 pm – Pastor Daniel will be hosting a prayer gathering on Zoom. Please email him for information on how to connect.
- Friday at 10:30 am – Good Friday worship gathering. Join us online as we reflect on Jesus’ sacrifice. As part of our service we will be inviting you to talk part in communion, please have juice/wine and bread ready so you can partake with us from home.

PrayFirst Online
At 9:30 every Sunday morning one of our pastors will be hosting an online Prayer Gathering called PrayFirst. This is an interactive prayer time that lasts for 30 minutes. You can join via YouTube or Zoom (email Pastor Daniel for the Zoom invite).

The easiest way to give to Living Hope during this time is by visiting our online giving page. If you’d rather give cash or cheque please contact Pastor Kirk who will come and pick up your gift (he’ll call you when he arrives and you can leave it outside your front door for him to pick up).
Church Office and Pastoral Staff
Due to COVID19 and upon instruction from our provincial and federal government our facility is not open to the public. While our facility is closed, the church never closes! During this unique period, our staff is working from home. If you are in need of assistance or would like to speak with our pastors please call 306.539.1210 or email info@mylivinghope.ca.
Engage with Your Church Family During the Week
Each day we post on our social media feeds an activity or event that you can engage with to grow in your faith and connect with your church family.
- Mystery Monday – a new spiritual challenge from Pastor Shauna each Monday to help you grow.
- Kindness Tuesday – post how God has blessed you
- Worship Wednesday – Pastor Eric leads a worship live stream at noon on YouTube and Facebook
- Thoughtful Thursday – Pastor Daniel hosts a prayer gathering via Zoom at 2 pm (watch our Facebook page for details)
- Fun Fridays – Pastor Shauna will lead a fun and inspiring activity for younger kids every Friday at 10 am.
- And you can join Pastor Colin for Coffee via Zoom on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 11 am. Email Colin for details.

We’ve got something special planned each week just for kids and youth!
- All Ages – Join Pastor Shauna for Bingo on Mondays at 10 am on her personal Facebook Page.
- Grades K-4 – Join Pastor Shauna Tuesdays at 10 am on our Facebook Page.
- Grades 5 & 6 – Join Pastor Shauna Thursdays at 10m on our Facebook Page.
- Grades 7 to 12 – Join Pastor Daniel and the Youth Team each Wednesday night via Zoom. Email Pastor Daniel for the Zoom invite.
