Jaffray Offering Update
Last Sunday, we collected the Jaffray Offering to support the church planting initiative in South Asia. Your generosity broke all records as $31,500 was given. The board approved matching the first $10,000 from the Going Beyond: Global Impact funds. Living Hope will be contributing $41,500! This will support 13 full-time church planters for one year. Huge thanks for sacrificing so that others might hear the amazing Good News of Jesus!
Installation Service // November 5
Sunday, November 5th join us for a special service of commissioning and celebration to welcome our new Pastor, Tim Busse. After the service, light refreshments will be served in the lobby. There will be a chance to “meet and greet” and love Pastor Tim, Melissa and their kids into Living Hope. Make plans to come and celebrate God’s goodness together..
Clothing Drive // November 6
While you’re getting out your winter gear, please bring any gently used items of any size to the church for families at Arcola Community School. Deposit in the bin in the lobby by Monday, Nov 6. Thanks for your generosity!

Place of Rescue Fall Tour // November 1 // Midweek
Place of Rescue, founded by Marie Ens, is a ministry in Cambodia for at-risk people, young and old. Come at 6:30pm to hear the stories of several Cambodian young people sharing how Rescue has impacted their lives.
Men’s Breakfast // November 4
Men’s Breakfast on Saturday, Nov 4, 8:30am is an opportunity to share your adventure of faith and the challenges and joys of life. Come to enjoy good food and friendship. Cost is $15. Register online at mylivinghope.ca/events.
Grieving the Right/Write Way // November 8 – December 6
What do we do when life has not turned out the way we had hoped? How do we respond to heartbreaking losses, and help people who are grieving, and may feel misunderstood or rejected. Join us Wednesdays 6:30-8:30pm to study the effects of grief and how we can survive the losses of life. Please purchase a copy of the book Grieving the Right/Write Way by Gary Toe. Discovering Your Ministry // November 8 – December 6
Here at Living Hope, serving is not an option – it’s a beautiful posture of a Jesus follower and an important catalyst to becoming all that Jesus envisions for you. To discover your unique design for ministry that God will use to build His church through you, join Pastor Shauna on Wednesday evenings, Nov 8 – Dec 6, 6:30-8:30pm.
