Discuss:
- Read Ephesians 4:1-6. What stands out to you in this text?
- How does the statement, “We have a million-dollar salvation but a five-cent response” land with you? Is this overstated? What might this idea be missing?
- This text mentions four ways we are to live as God calls us. They are listed below. Which one is easiest for you? Which one is hardest? Share one from both questions.
- Humility – we must renounce self-centerdness (even though the culture will tell you to put yourself first)Gentleness – we must renounce harshness and violence (when speaking truth in love, lob a catchable ball)Patience – we must renounce the tyranny of our own agendas (to suffer fools without irritation)
- Sacrificial love – we must renounce our rights (not boundaries, but rights)
- Share a time when the most challenging one of these items came up for you?
- Take a moment for everyone to listen to Holy Spirit as each person shares. Ask what He wants to say to you about this situation.
- Share what God said to you with the person who shared, making sure to avoid shaming and ‘shoulds’

- As people have shared pray through these things.
- Also ask who they want to pray for in their life, with a special focus on someone who does not know Jesus.
