Have you ever tried to complete a puzzle only to find a piece is missing?
Every Christmas, in the week between Christmas and New Years, my family will clear off our coffee table and begin to work on a puzzle. There have been times over the years when we’ve been close to completing the puzzle only to find that there’s a piece or pieces missing. Has that ever happened to you? It’s frustrating when we can’t find that missing piece because the puzzle just isn’t complete without it.
For the past 5 weeks we have been looking at the book of Ephesians and exploring what the author says about our identities when we are united in Christ. Throughout this series, a piece of the puzzle – who you really are -has been mentioned each week but hasn’t been fully explored yet.
This week we are going to look at the missing piece of the puzzle – who you really are. I hope you are planning to join us because without this piece we aren’t complete. When it comes to becoming what Jesus envisions, without this piece you’ll find yourself just as frustrated as I do when a piece of my family’s Christmas puzzle is missing.
