Celebrating Fathers and Families
Join us Sunday, June 19 for a celebration of Fathers and Families. We’ll be hosting an outdoor service, BBQ and festival for the whole family. The service will begin at 10:30 am in the parking lot and be followed by the BBQ (suggested donation of $5 per person or $20 per family) and festival. OptionS is a non-profit organization that offers information and support for unplanned pregnancies, birth parents, adoptees, and those affected by abortion. If you picked up a baby bottle to help support OptionS please remember to return it to the church by next Sunday (June 19)Prayer Summit
Join us Sunday, June 26 at 7 pm for a Prayer Summit as we focus on children’s ministry for the summer months. There will be a brief time of singing, followed by teaching; you will be led in a time of personal and small group prayer. The evening will wrap up with a celebration of communion. During the week of July 4-8, from 9 am until noon, we have lots of room for you to join the Living Hope Children’s team as a tactical tour guide and to help lead our children through God’s exhilarating passageways. Guide our children from quest to quest and teach them to hike the joy-filled caverns that are lit by the Light of the world. Here is your chance to be a Park Ranger. Mark your calendars for the Summer Kids Camp, Cave Quest: Following Jesus the Light of the World, July 4-8 from 9 am until noon. Registration forms are available at the church or on the website (www.mylivinghope.ca/children/). All students entering grades 7-12 next fall are invited to join us for a campout at Buffalo Pound from July 13-15. We will be camping in tents, playing wide games, swimming, and much more!
