It’s almost road trip season, that time of year when we pile the family into the car and set out for destinations known and unknown. I love to take road trips, especially with Britton and the kids. If you could take a road trip with anyone, who would it be?
Over the next three weeks we are going to take a road trip of sorts with Jesus. On June 5, 12 and 19 we are going to journey with Jesus as he travels from Bethsaida to Caesarea Philippi. On our journey, we are going to watch Jesus as he interacts with his disciples and the crowds that follow him. In the process, we will discover how to become the person Jesus envisions.
I hope you’ll join us this Sunday as we kick off our “Journeying with Jesus” series and begin our road trip with Jesus in Luke 9:10-17. Pastor Curtis will be helping us look at a familiar story from a new perspective.
