The Board met on Tuesday October 24, 2023. We started the meeting with a devotional from Philippians 1:6 – Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
We are thankful and praise God for His care of Living Hope:
- We are excited to welcome Tim, Melissa and their children to our Living Hope family and pray for Holy Spirit’s blessing on their ministry.
- Many new families have started attending and are interested in membership.
- Ministry and General giving is on track for the year and actually 19% higher overall from this time last year.
- The Jaffray offering was an outstanding $31,500 + $10k matched. ($41,500)
- 4 testimonies of miraculous healing.
We are blessed and humbled to serve as your Board of Elders. The board has made a work plan for the next few months of 2023/24; Pastor Tim will join us at our November meeting.
We expressed our gratitude to Al Fedorak for leading us through this transition year. We are so thankful that he was willing to serve and that the Lord used him and gave him strength for this season of ministry (Deuteronomy 33:25 – May the bolts of your gate be iron and bronze, and may your strength match your days). We finished our meeting time together with fellowship, praying for Al as he moves into a new chapter. Please continue to pray for Al and Joan in the coming months that they will enjoy a time of rest and hear clearly from Holy Spirit how God is calling them to serve next.
We are so excited to see what Jesus will do at Living Hope in 2023-24. Thank you for serving with us!
