- Share a Rose (highlight), Thorn (lowlight), and a Bud (something that has potential) from the Christmas holiday.
- Are you a New Year’s resolution kind of person? Why or why not?
- What dreams have you had that have been fulfilled? What dreams do you have that have yet to be fulfilled? What dreams did you have, that God changed?
Discussion:
- Re-read Eph 3:14-21
- In what ways have you experienced the depths of God’s love in your life? Try to avoid using Christian language.
- What area(s) in your life do you struggle to know/feel/experience God’s love?
- Do you dream? If so, what about?
- Eph 3 tells us to imagine what God would do through us as a church. Pastor Tim talked about 5 different dreams he has for Living Hope. What things are you dreaming about for Living Hope?
- Take a few minutes to do some listening prayer.
- Pull out a piece of Paper/white board/or notebook and brainstorm all the different dreams you have for Living Hope (be sure to email this to Pastor Tim – tim@mylivinghope.ca ).
- What’s one way you might lean into the work of God in and through your life this year?
