Kids

We firmly believe that kids are an integral part of the Living Hope family and want each one to encounter Christ and the life-changing truth of His Word. As we provide programs and materials for these young ones to become what Jesus envisions, it is crucial that we have a team of dedicated, kid-loving people ready to teach and demonstrate a life of faith. Our team members fill a variety of roles all working together to create meaningful moments of connection with Jesus – in the practical, the fun, the learning, the doing, the silly, the serious, and everything in-between! Are you ready to share your love for Jesus with our little people? See how you can get involved below!

Areas of service:

  • Take-Home Projects – there is opportunity for team members to take hands-on prep projects home such as sharpening pencils, testing markers, sorting, cutting, etc.
  • Kids Church – on Sunday mornings, we have kiddos in grades 1-4 join us for worship, Bible learning, and a whole lot of fun! Team members hold positions such as Story Teller, Small Group Leader, and Classroom helper.
  • Nursery and Preschool rooms – these more age-specific spaces host our littlest friends during the Sunday morning service. Our team has the opportunity to snuggle, play, and teach, as they care for these littles.
  • MidWeek – on Wednesday evenings, we have Kids Club! This team runs activities, teaches Bible lessons, and in general gets to hang out with the kiddos!

The safety and security of all kids is our top priority. All Kids Ministry personnel are required to attend Living Hope for at least six months, complete an application form, take Plan to Protect training, and obtain criminal record check before serving in our programs. Regular training events and record updates are also compulsory.
